This is a lovely white variety with super sweet flesh. Roast until soft, steam or fry (delicious but naughty). Highly addictive, in season for a short time only.

In Peru evidence has been found of Sweet Potato cultivation that dates back to 8000BC. They are now grown throughout tropical and warm temperate regions wherever there is sufficient water to support their growth. They take between 3 – 9 month to mature and they are available in different colours ranging from white to red and purple. Our variety is from Egypt and has a white skin and flesh. We have tried several different varieties over the last few years but found this to be the best for our climate. The flavour is simply divine.
