These gorgeous Pumpkins from the South of France are usually flat and shaped like large ribbed wheels. Our Pumpkins turned out completely different. All of them have a kind of uneven oval shape and the color of the skin ranges from a pale orange to a dark green. They’ve been in the open field since late September so they are fully ripe at this point but we figure the change of shape is due to the heat. The taste of the yellow flesh is delicious though. Bake in the oven until soft and then grill them slightly to bring out the natural sweetness.
